Big Apple Greeter is asking its friends to support our program by donating $25 or more.

This past year has been one of the most financially challenging for Big Apple Greeter, but we are delighted to report that we have continued to connect thousands of visitors with people who know and love New York City the best – our Greeters!
 
Since 1992, our goal has been to let visitors know what we know – New York City is friendly, fun and exciting. Now 18 years later, Big Apple Greeter has met its greatest challenge – to keep our free program alive.
 
Since corporate and individual contributions have dramatically decreased, we have extended our fundraising efforts by asking everyone in our database – over 24,000 people including visitors, volunteers, funders and friends – to each make a contribution.
 
Please consider making at a least a small donation ($25 or more) in support of Big Apple Greeter’s free public service program.  However, making a donation when you submit a visit request form does not guarantee that a Greeter will be available for your visit.
