When it’s picnic time in Park Slope’s Prospect Park, you can buy delicious New York State wines and cheeses along Brooklyn’s 7th Avenue shopping street.

Walk along 7th Avenue from Flatbush Avenue to 15th Street and you will find multiple small markets ready to sell you New York State apples and other seasonal fruits. Look for the perfect fruit and their best-suited companions: New York State Cheddar Cheese, Herkimer Port Wine Cheese and Ronnybrook Milk and Yogurt. It’s then a short walk to the park with your feast of great eating and drinking.
