Big Apple Greeter Awarded Grant

On Friday, October 14, at the Lincoln Hospital Auditorium in the Bronx, Big Apple Greeter was honored to receive a $4,875.00 grant from the New Yankee Stadium Community Benefits Fund.Big Apple Greeter received this grant so we could recruit more Bronxites to share what they love about the Bronx – with our visitors and Greeters. Visitors’ and Greeters’ stories make their way into the media and promote an up-to-date image of what’s vibrant and wonderful about the Bronx.Alicia Pierro, Executive Director of Big Apple Greeter, happily accepted the check and gave special thanks to the Foundation Administrator, Veronica A. DeJesus, for her guidance and support.
